A bit about yum

After 12 years in the rat race I decided it was time for a change. Time to do something that I love. Cooking. Born and bred in Lymington, I decided to return to my roots and use the New Forest as an inspiration for my cooking. Yum was successfully recognised as a local producer in March 2008 when it was awarded the New Forest Marque.

Yum’s mission is to cater for all tastes and budgets, using only the finest ingredients, to produce high quality, delicious homemade food.

Doing our bit

We recycle all we can and have about 200 worms in a lovely wormery to munch through all our fruit and veg waste.

We have established a strong local supplier base to ensure high quality produce is used within our recipes. We actively reduce food miles by sourcing our ingredients locally - over 80% of our ingredients come from within a 30 mile radius (spices come from all around the world!)
